Re: [RC1] Music Page 2.0.0

Download protection: Is there such a thing? I would think YouTube would have it if so.

Anyway. None are in the MOD DB as far as I can tell, nor were they, nor does it appear to accept a simple embed code, which was the whole point of this.

Re: [RC1] Music Page 2.0.0

My only thing was just questioning whether it was in the MOD DB -- which I couldn't find it in. I assume it isn't. Thus, I made one to replace it. ;) BTW, does it have a flash player built-in? My whole thing was about having something that just allowed the admin (and only the admin) to specify an em...

Re:

Why was this mod even created? The music online mod (version 2.06 - 2.065 and 2.1) seems to do all of this and more and has been out for years? http://www.jlaforum.com/music.php (A) Link dead. (B) Is it in the official MOD DB? No. ;) FYI, I'm not going to be working any more on the Music Page Mod u...

Using template code

What are the terms for using the template system code?

I would like to use it, under the GPL, in my blog, with a notice that it was created by you guys.

Thanks!

Re: Music Page

Hi all. The fix to this is... (I forget now =P). The fix: Go into SQL (PhpMyAdmin, alike), find phpbb's database. Open the table phpbb_music (phpbb_ being your selected prefix). Edit each row's "code" field, replacing < with < and > with > Man, it's been forever since I worked on this. But, it's sum...

Sorry, I've nearly quit development of this (but not quite)...

I'm very busy with school lately.

But the reason for the link being broken is that I moved hosts and am now using my school's computer guy's hosting, so I don't want to use too many resources.
Sorry.

This was a pretty major update, as it added the usage of the DB for finding songs. There is not a control panel for adding songs right now, you will have to do it manually in something like phpMyAdmin.

OK I still dont get how to add songs to this. Do you have to upload the songs somewhere or what? I got it installed on my page already. Heres what you do: Go to Google Video (GV) or Youtube. Get the embed code, to do this on GV: Click "Email - Blog - Post to myspace" on right. Click "Embed HTML" Co...

Anyways I noticed a flaw in the mod, if you login to the forum and then go to the music page and then back to the forum your automatically logged out and you gotta relog. Can this be fixed, if so how? Is this fixed in the SQL version or is this flaw still present? 8O dunno what caused that... good ...
