Login from main website to forum

Is there a mod so that users can login (or register) from my main website to my forum? Code would have to go on main website and phpBB3.x.

Hope I explained what I need okay...

Thanks in advance!

If the fix scripts have done no good then it's time to contact your hosts and let them sort it out.
In other words, bluehost.

Will do.

Thanks Kevin!

Re: OMG. Forums down. Help please!

Another thought: we are running 2.022, if we were to update to 2.023, would that fix the problem...or no?

Or if we reinstall 2.022?

Thanks,

Re: OMG. Forums down. Help please!

Wonder if there is anyway to just restore from a backup just that one table? Would it create an even bigger mess than we have?

Really, really stressing...so apologize in advance for my panicky sounding messages. :(

Re: OMG. Forums down. Help please!

It didn't work. Went through the cycle of checking and repairing. Sorry, this is long, but going to include the report: Now checking and repairing table phpbb_album ... OK Now checking and repairing table phpbb_album_cat ... OK Now checking and repairing table phpbb_album_comment ... OK Now checking...

Re: OMG. Forums down. Help please!

Okay, I was talking about the text file after the 145 error stuff. So, going to give it a go because looks like is the same file as up top on the page.

Wish me luck.

Re: OMG. Forums down. Help please!

Are you using the repair script I linked you to? Or are you using phpMyAdmin? If the latter, try the former. Was using the phpMyAdmin one. But then I tried: <?php define('IN_PHPBB', true); $phpbb_root_path = (defined('PHPBB_ROOT_PATH')) ? PHPBB_ROOT_PATH : './'; $phpEx = substr(strrchr(__FILE__, '....

Re: OMG. Forums down. Help please!

I just ran optimize on all the tables. When I do this the phpBB_users table does show up as needing to be repaired, but if I run repair it says it is up to date.

Man, this is stressful.

Help please?

Thanks,
Jules

Re: OMG. Forums down. Help please!

I did see that, Steve, and have run repair 4 times so far. Should I run repair on just the one table or all tables? How long do I wait before running repair gain? Under Structure this is the only file that is "in use". Does that mean anything? And why would it bring back that it is 'up to date', if ...

Re: Auto responder messages problem

Think we have the problem figured out. It is our hosting server and the autoresponder there.

Thanks for the input anyway, guys. And, yes, I will post in a mod forum if anything shows up as being from the mods installed.

Thanks,

Jules

Re: Auto responder messages problem

Jeff, I am not sure what the problem is - if it is phpBB or what - so that is why I posted it here.

My apologies, though. You have a great day!

Auto responder messages problem

On our Board we have auto responder messages that go out to members if they try to post via email. The message tells them that they can't do this and need to go to the Board to post. Our problem is that members are getting this auto message when there is no reason for it. We have m2f installed, so n...
