Re: Making a back up

You need to upload it manually (via ftp, web file manager etc.)

Simply re-install your phpbb script, then upload your backup then restore

Re: Please Help With 1 Problem On Update to 3.0.8

You need to merge it, then download the merged file to your computer. Upload and replace with the old one, then redo a file check.

Backups are stored in the "/store" folder. You need to upload it to that folder to restore

Re: Force Approval of New Users before they can post

ACP -> Forums -> Groups' Forum Permissions -> Select Newly Registered Users

Select all forums and set "Newly Registered Users" (exclude hidden forums - they should be no access)

Re: tired of purging cache

I logged in with your password and i saw that you're just a user now (and your ID is not 2 (there's someone with id 2) that means founder probably removed your permissions.)

Just ask him to add you.

Re: Bruteforce

Re: tired of purging cache

You don't have administrator permissions.

Login to your phpmyadmin, go to phpbb_users and find your name. Click edit and change "group_id" to "5" (which is your forum's administrator group)

Bruteforce

Hi, Someone is currently trying to bruteforce my password with some tool, and he uses proxy. His tool can't read the captcha after 3 attempts(that's what the log says) but it's still bugging me. Re: disallow registration for bots

You're getting me wrong. I don't have a spam problem. I'm looking for that spesific mod. I had it a while ago but i lost it. So that topic will not help me.

Re: disallow registration for bots

I don't need a guide to stop spammers. I just need that mod for something.
