I wouldnt say the php script will not work correctly on godaddy. I had problems with them cause I had the wrong hosting plan. If you do go with godaddy get the linux w/php. I did that and it installed fine.

Another question I have is, will these mods still be in place if change servers. I'm guessing the server name will change once I create the database on the new server.

I know I'm new to this but it would seem like common sense to get the problems fixed, like the spammers and others before it happens. I'm not tryin to insult anybody, but that was one of the reasons for posting this question. I just want to go ahead and nip it in the butt  Another question I h...

Beta tests

I've heard people thats just starting there forum talk about doing beta test. I was wondering what that actually do or look for when they test. Do they just look to make sure that new topics post correctly or that the moderator's can do what they are suppose to?

What MODS should start with

I've got my forum installed and I was wanting to know if there were any MODS out there that I should start off with. This will be my first forum so I'm open to any suggestions.

Ignore that last post from me. I found out what it was. The host name was right but when I copied and pasted it, it added a few spaces to the begining of the line.

Problem fixed

Thanks guys!!!

"Thank you for contacting customer service. Please make sure all installation files have been correctly configured. Unfortunately, we are unable to assist with installing third-party scripts."

Now where do I go from here?
