Your password is hidden when you type it in. You won't see anything, but rest assured the script is getting it.

The fora.pl converter is a bit old. I did not implement forum structure conversion for these older converters.

That's _weird_. I've definitely never seen that happen before. Send me a link to your forumotion forum (over PM or email please) and I'll take a look.

What posts are getting duplicated? If you visit the topics/posts in question, is there anything odd about them?

Make sure both of the following options (in Administration->General->Messages and Emails->Configuration) are turned off and/or set to zero:

- Always show the first post in the topics
- Number of posts from previous page to display on last page

I see you set these settings forum-wide. Have you set them in your user control panel (UCP)? Those are the only settings that will actually be used by the converter (it logs in as you when you provide the cookies, so it sees what you see, not what guests will see).

I wonder about this. I am still successfully converting fora.pl using the old fora.pl converter. Can I perhaps have a look at your forum?

The Zetaboards converter is older, and only converts to phpBB2. You'll have to install a phpBB2 forum, upload the database to that forum, and then convert that again to phpBB3.

Hi there. For the past week I have been trying to convert my board from ZetaBoards to phpBB. I have followed the instructions in the notepad document listed as "Instructions" to the letter but when I get onto stage 4 (the importing of the files) I always get this error Error SQL query: TR...

Turns out it's just a minor code change, so it was easy to patch. New version uploaded! Try it out.

This happened just in the last few days? Darn...I'm going to have to fix that up. Not sure when I'm going to have time to do that.

@thalhah: please search your computer to see if the files (e.g. topics_posts_phpbb3.sql) were generated somewhere else

@randum: check that your table_prefix matches your database, and that you are converting to the right forum software (phpBB3)

If you haven't gotten any posts, you can quite safely do another conversion and re-upload.
