Funny enough, I was out most of the day, came back and it seems to have magically fixed itself ...

Maybe it just needed time to heal ...

Here is my forum: www.mes-english.com/forum/ after 4 hours of running the newly installed 2.0.2 my views stats doubled and the only ones on my boards were spiders. I changed my robots.txt to get them out for the time being but I'd like to have them back. However, I'm not sure I want 3,000,000 views ...

you can ban the single IP, I did that with 2 or 3 to get them out temporarily but they may be indexing your pages which is a good thing.

Another plan of attack is to edit your robots.txt file to disallow that spider.

These are a bit hack remedies but should work for this one perp.
