what is a portal?

What exactly is a portal, I see them everywhere and read about them, but I am not sure what exactly they are? would someone please tell me what they are by definition, and how are they different from a styles mod or something?

hey Ian, one simple alternative would be to open your files, and check the links of the documents and change them, adding target="_blank" that should open it up in a different browser. This is pretty lame of a problem, and I am having the same problem with fetchall, but I don't want to use an inline...

I was running version 2.0.18, so I used the mod and upgraded to verson 2.0.19, then I used the following mod to upgrade from version 2.0.19 to the current verson 2.0.20. ^^^So it's purely aesthetic then, it's not a real mod. I'm saying that because initially it was named the wrong way, but whatever. ..Good post for those who find it useful
