I kinda gave up on phpBB skins after I got more into webdesign. If I ever decide to rehost it, I'll update you all.

Re: CMS question

I hope this is acceptable in this forum not sure where else to post it. I was looking at several CMS platforms or programs but was told by my host that I would lost my database or that it would not transfer over. I like the phpbb software and want to use a CMS program that will allow for management...

You'll need to apply some javascript to your phpBB for this to work. Here's a little trick I found awhile ago. I'd cite whoever wrote the code, but I have no clue. Copy this into a file and name it "scripts.js" then upload it to your template root directory function CheckNew(folder) { if(folder.inde...

Check to see if the link has a declared class or an ID. To do this, go into the TPL file and look for the snippet of the code that is showing up as default color. It sounds confusing, but it's easy. Just let us know what links are showing up blue, link us to your forum, and I'll walk you through it ...

I think you shouldn't give up on it, it's a great skin and the only vB style skin for phpBB that I know of. I'm not giving up on it, I'm going to redo a lot of it. Once Justinsanity.net is back up and running, I will be able to start. I'm redoing a lot of it because of the messy code. It's not like...

I decided about two months ago to hault the design of phpvBB. Because I was still learning CSS and webdesign while designing phpvBB, I made tons of mistakes. I think I'll go through it and completely redo it all. Not sure yet.

phpvBB isn't up for download at the moment. I still have more bugs that have been reported, and things I'd like to modify. It'll probably be up in a matter of 2 weeks.

It'll be up soon.

I need to use the same set of tpl files, and have the overallheader selectable by users. Is this possible?

Only change header and css file

Is there a way or a mod already written to only change the overall_header and/or css of a template, but still keep all the other content within the template intact?

Thanks

In subSilver.cfg find this code: $images['forum'] = "$current_template_images/folder_big.gif"; and modify it to use random images. For example: $folder_images = array('folder_big.gif', 'folder_big2.gif', 'folder_big3.gif'); $images['forum'] = $current_template_images . '/' . $folder_images[mt_rand(...
