Nice add-on Handyman, got the shoutbox sitting nicely on the bottom of my subsilver2 board, took about 10 mins to add it in and worked 1st time with no problems

WRONG !!

Screwed my gallery integration, ho hum time to do it the hard way and go through the code

Got it backed up but everything else is working so I'll see if I can find where it's gone adrift.

As it says in the title, I need to update from RC7 and I have gallery2 intergrated along with a couple of small mods, how safe is it to use the auto update method as I've never used it before or am I better advised to start from clean files and applying the changes again ?

Apologies if this has been asked before, but is it possible in this early release to restrict gallery creation and uploads to a specific user group, e.g. for our club we'd only want Full members to be able to create their own galleries, but anyone else would just have view permissions. if you've not used handymans code then you've got nothing to hide, but at the end of the day it's your call if it is your code.

I'd just like to see a fully functional gallery ASAP as it's top of my add on list

Just complete RC3 to RC4 pretty straightforward and everything appears to be working fine so far

Now don't bring RC5 out for at least a week or two I've got things to do !

I'll try it later this week once I've had chance to upgrade to RC4 although looking at the change log I can't see any reason why it should work in RC4 and not RC3 ?

Yep, I tried posting it myself and it didn't appear, but another .jpg link from my own putfile account worked fine ? it's almost as if it doesn't like the link format ?
