Re: Internal 500 error on check files

Thank you for the pointer. One question, I looked at the sql version and it's 4.1...godaddy is telling me it's incompatible with 3.0.5. Should I take this opportunity to update the database? If so, I'm assuming I can do these steps: 1. Backup dbase (entire thing) 2. Create new dbase with 5.0 3. Inst...

Re: Forumer dbase

Wow, I'm glad you managed to interpret "The ibly way UI've heard of to get anybackup from a "free" host" which was meant to be "The only way I've heard of to get any backup from a "free" host...". Sorry about the typos. Hehe. Well, I did read it about 2348930842 times but I did manage to figure it ...

Re: Forumer dbase

I've read that Forumer won't give you access to the sql database. Does anyone know of another way to get a database from them? I'd like to merge it with a phpbb board already in place. The ibly way UI've heard of to get anybackup from a "free" host is to give them money, and they will extract your ...

You're not the only one to have this problem. The board I'm on had the same thing happen. Posts just started to disappear.

Re: Recreating site

Your config.php is looking at glucola_ whereas the database you show us is glucola_discussion. I do see a database named just _, which has 30 tables and is probably the vanilla install db. try changing config.php to $dbname 'glucola_discussion'. aaaahh..ok I get it now. I apologize. I thought the d...

Re: Recreating site

No, if your data doesn't show phpbb is looking at the wrong databaswe somehow. But judging by the config.php code I posted, it's looking at the correct dbase. Here is a screen shot. http://www.cornick.us/Other/newx/server.jpg versions don't matter. You say the records are there, but are they the rec...

Re: Recreating site

I just checked the dbase and there are records in the tables.

Would it matter if the dbase was from a previous version of phpbb? like 2.21 or something?
