You can either delete the whole section I pasted above, and in case you will want to make it show later, you will have to put it back in, Or you could add an <!-- BEFORE and an --> AFTER the sequence to "comment" it. Commented code sequences are not processed, therefore the section will not be s...

Actually I was trying to reach a few persons that were involved with phpBB more than regular users so I could ask a few question, and I thought I'd have little chance to reach you guys, so I've tried those in my country.

@T-M: Good luck with your new bb project ;)

Heh, the 1.4*s look quite funny.

They never see any need to upgrade until they get hacked or defaced :P

If you have phpMyAdmin access to the database, you should browse through the database, to phpbb_users -> your username -> user_pass and change the value of the field to a new password, and under the encryption type, select MD5.

You will then be able to use the account with the new password.

It's all written in the readme ;) There's an archive containing one folder (install) and one file (cookie.php). So you'll have /install/cookie.php Upload the whole folder into your forum root folder, so you can access http://your-forum.com/install/cookie.php Run that link in your browser, save the s...

Good afternoon,

That's not because of the registration system.
It's because of your host, and its interconnections. Their SMTP server has an outgoing queue, it doesn't ship all messages instantly, and here comes the delay.

Good afternoon,

Is your host allowing SMTP via the mail(); function?
You should contact your host and ask for that. If they don't, you have no other option than to move your forum to another host.
