im sorry to bring back up an old post. but i finnaly managed to get a backup, and almost the same thing happend: i go into file manager, select the backup, and almost exactly 10 seconds later its gone, poof deleted it says the file no longer exists, i am very disapointed now, as that was my last hop...

ok listen, i just googled phpmyadmin found there website, downloaded the newest version to my docs, and now its sitting there and i have no idea on how to install it.

no good, i took the default common.php, and it said
"no syncranization is nesessary"
i guese that means the files are exactly the same.
