Re: Link Text Superimposed on Image Icon

I tried clearing my cache and checked it out on another computer without history to my site.

See how it shows here: http://www.correiateachers.com/viewforum.php?f=27

Here's my problem: http://correiateachers.com/znewtopic.png http://correiateachers.com/zreply.png Does anyone have a fix for this? This started when I had phpBB3 in beta quite some time ago. I just wiped out the directory and reinstalled the latest stable version. Somehow, the text superimposed over...

Link Text Superimposed on Image Icon

Here's my problem:

This started on my board when phpBB3 was in beta. I've since deleted all files and reinstalled. The problem has to be in the database. Anyone have a fix for this?

Re: Is there a Chat mod out there that links with the forum user

Has anyone looked into GeeSee? They offer it for free but advertisements will be placed with the chat MOD.

Here's their feature list:

Their MOD for phpBB can be downloaded here:

Re: Topic Calendar (regular phpBB edition)

I just went through ALL of my files on the server and changed my backup scheme. Great suggestion to rename with an underscore so they're all conveniently located on the top!

Lesson learned!

Re: Topic Calendar (regular phpBB edition)

I found my problem! Maybe someone can explain to me why. Whenever I update a file for an upgrade or a MOD, I save the original on the server. I simply rename the file such as the one I had this problem with: admin_board.php to admin_board-original.php If that file is modified again, I'd rename it ad...

Re: Topic Calendar (regular phpBB edition)

Thank you for you help, Ptirhiik. Looking at my regular ACP - Config, there are no "Calendar Preferences". Did I miss something!?!? What files were added or modified? I simply want to be able to override user settings and set the first day of the week to Sunday for guest views. Really Ptirhiik, I've...

Re: Topic Calendar (regular phpBB edition)

Also, is there anyway I can remove past years from the year drop down box, I could do with it starting at 2007 instead of 1990's I just fixed that. Here's what Ptirhiik suggested in a prior post: To fix the 1970 to 2037 issue, change this: From includes/class_calendar_posting.php $options = $this->...

Re: Topic Calendar (regular phpBB edition)

Outstanding MOD! I've looked through and searched this board but can not find support for Configuration + that many say is in the ACP. Is it part of this MOD? Did I miss something? How can I get the Calendar Preferences? It seems that the files listed below are not present in my version (mod-TC122) ...

Thanks Lord

Great! School starts on Tuesday. I am swamped momentarily but will try it out as soon as I can. Thought you fell off the face of the Earth.

You rock!

I went back to your 0.1.1 version. Viewing other forums after installation yields an Information box that states, "no seereply set." Playing around with the permissions allows configurations that allow you to view all topics or set to "Posted" on Reply Visibility which allows you to see only the fir...

I've went back to Lord's 1.1 MODs for viewtopic.php and it works with lots of issues. Certainly does not work as in his DEMO. Some forums are unviewable. Checked permissions and everything seems ok. After posting a reply, you are unable to view posts unless you return to the index. Like I said befor...

Thank you for filling the request!!! I tried out the MOD on your demo site and it works exactly as I hoped. After installation, there is a major problem with viewtopic.php. In fact, I am unable to view any topics on the board.

here it is: http://www.phpbb.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=397440 if you're still interested... I can't seem to get your new MOD to work. There seems to be an issue with viewtopic. After the installation, I am unable to view any topics. The browser loads blank with a status of "Done." I did try it out ...

Ratt, those hacks aren't quite what I need. Here's my issue. I post a topic for my students to reply to (they are 8th graders, 13-14 years old). Typically, 5-10 students put lots of effort and thought into their post. After they post, many others just read what they wrote and use it in their post. T...
