Re: Anomalous code tags in body text when using Manage drafts > View/Edit

Could you elaborate?

I have just quoted your reply and saved as draft, but I don't see those tags when using View/Edit...

phpbbtags.PNG (7.62 KiB) Viewed 378 times

Also, I have just installed 3.3.1 on a VM and don't see that behaviour there.

Btw, the site in question is the community support forum for AutoHotkey.

Anomalous code tags in body text when using Manage drafts > View/Edit

Not sure what version a site I visit is using, but I assume greater than 3.2.x because one style used is only available for 3.2.x and 3.3.x. When trying to View/Edit a saved draft, anomalous tags are found in the body text. For example... <r><QUOTE author="gregster" post_id="352666&qu...

Shouldn't that read /store/qa_debug.log, according to the code in the 'After, add;' block?

[FIXED] MODX Creator: online works, offline doesn't

As a first time modder I successfully produced a preliminary MODX install file by following the video tutorial for the MODX Generator. But, after downloading the offline version of MODX Creator, submitting the preliminary MODX install file and filling the required fields, when clicking either view o...

Yeah - I had figured that out, hence why I highlighted the 's', but thanks for the feedback. Just a nuisance is all.

phpbb3 "This Connection is Untrusted"???

Noticed today; many of the google searches I'm performing with "phpbb3" in the criteria are returning results with "http s //www.phpbb3.com" in them. e.g. search for "phpbb3 smilies more button", returns http://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&source=web&cd=1&sqi=2...

Not an AutoMOD problem

Ok - I have to admit that I know just enough about Linux ownership and permissions to be dangerous. Basically, I wanted to delegate my phppbb administration to another user, with the ability to edit files via ftp but without the the full range of directory navigation that www-data has as an f...

Re: Please help! AutoMod upload has killed my entire site

I don't see how just uploading the contents of the 'automod/upload' directory to your 'domain/community' directory can be responsible for what has happened to your site, unless you have made some modifications to your phpbb installation that includes some file names that conflict with those of autom...

[SOLVED] Uploaded files always have www-data ownership

No matter what upload method I use, Direct, FTP or Compressed File Download, uploaded mods and their subsequent directories and files always have "www-data" ownership. Is there some tweak that can be made to make "FTP user" the owner of files and directories? - otherwise there se...

Re: Registration window not displaying corerectly

For the record, the language variables you copied into common.php do not belong there. If your board is not working correctly in the default configuration there is obviously something else wrong. :) By your reckoning 'CONFIRM_CODE_EXPLAIN', associated with {L_CONFIRM_CODE_EXPLAIN}, should not be in...

Re: Registration window not displaying corerectly

Hmmm, I had to cut and paste... 'VC_REFRESH' => 'Refresh confirmation code', 'VC_REFRESH_EXPLAIN' => 'If you cannot read the code you can request a new one by clicking the button.', from lang/en/ucp.php to lang/en/common.php. P.S. I assume I only have British English installed as there is no ...

[Split] Registration window not displaying corerectly

I had this problem after performing a clean install using "phpBB Installation Release 3.0.5" phpBB-3.0.5.zip.

Does this imply that the above package comes with 3.0.4 language files?

I make my changes using my ftp client's editor.

Can you expand on "Refresh the style" and explain how this deletes the database entries?

Build up of entries in database

e.g. I have 21 entries for
phpbb_styles_template_data/template_id=1/template_filename=ucp_register.html
corresponding to each edit I've made to that file.

Is there any way to remove the 20 unneeded entries via the ACP, rather than doing it manually?

Thanks for any info.
