Thanks espicom, I had to do some reading but got it figured out. In the PHP.ini file:

FIND:
odbc.defaultlrl = 4096

CHANGE TO:
odbc.defaultlrl = 76400

This works great for those use mssql with odbc.

text fields in HTML have a limit of 32K or 64K. This is true but the stuff I am posting is no where near this. I am using phpbb2 and MSSQL 2000. The phpbb_posts_text field is of data type ntext. That should be plenty of room and really is but when the text gets to long, way less then an ntext type, it gets cut off. Sorry, I was wrong on the php version. I am using php 4.4.2.

madtay, I will try that. I am using my local ip such as 192.168.1.1 instead of the ip comming from my isp.

I am using "phpBB 2.0.21" I just downloaded it 2 days ago.
I am using MySql 5.0 and yes I am positive of this version.
