Re: hyperlink in board name or description?

I actually used the brackets in their grammatical meaning - as comment. :D

The bbCode doesn't work in the text fields in adminstrator control panel. It only works in posts and PM's.

Please, does anyone have a solution?

By the way, I already tried it with mimetex. It doesn't work, becaus this hosting doesn't accept .cgi (although it works wonderful with PHP and MYSQL). So I need some possibility without .cgi-programs.

My bad - and my apologies. I stand corrected - unfortunately, the link you had provided leads to a site that is not in english, so I just jumped to a conclusion. Oh no, I'm sorry, I should tell it in my first post. Yeah, the website is German. There is a phpBB mod for latex, I remember using...

You see, the fact that your forum is hosted with a 'free forum provider', I am sorry to say, more or less ends your quest for latex extensions. A little correction - it's not a forum provider. It is a simple free hosting, where you can use PHP, MYSQL and a lot of other stuff, that I don't understan...

Using LaTeX

I don't know, whether this topic belongs here, so excuse me, please, if it really doesn't. I already searched this Board and the German version with keyword "latex" and found a lot of stuff. Most of this stuff was useless. Some topics were interesting, but I found only the instructions of ...
