Merging two PHPBB3 forums together

I have two forums that were sharing registered users. I upgraded one of the forums to phpbb3 and have it active...and working well. The other one I took offline. Since I didn't merge the databases together before upgrading are there any suggestions on merging them after upgrading to the most recent ...

I do have to say though that I experienced the error you are talking about. Oddly enough I have ipowerweb also as a ho...

Critical Error Need Help

I was curious if anyone has gotten the following message and possibly what it means. I actually am unable to access my database right now so it could perhaps be related to something on the server side. Just curious if anyone has any input. Thanks, BOB TURKEE phpBB : Critical Error Error doing DB que...

Again thanks to all of the community members. I fixed it last evening and was so tired that I forgot to come and pull this message. Again basically it was a change of the .htaccess file; however this time it was both with in the php forum as well as with in the overall domain. I caught the one with ...

The links still redirect to offending sites from what I can tell on this end.

All is up to date mod/forum wise.

Ok I tried it again and still no dice. Initially there was some bad code on there to cause the redirect, but I removed it and it still occured. Right now the only redirect I have on the .htaccess is from index.html to my phpbb forum. Other ideas?

Website hacked?

Hello Community, A few weeks ago I had my server hacked and my .htaccess page altered to cause my links to redirect to a spyware ladden website. Some of the site moderators and community members pointed me towards the .htaccess fix and it worked. This week it happened again. The site was redirecting...

The htaccess was outside on the server side...now I just have to figure out what it should be. :)

It can be closed I think.

Thanks,

Ya it is working fine locally...I found the culpret. Someone hacked and altered the htaccess. Thanks phpbb community for your help. I am going to remove the site links so that someone doesn't accidently follow them somewhere. Again thanks Jim, Karlsemple and other others who have given me feedback. ...

If you copy the URL and paste it into your address bar the site will come up. Ya please don't fall for the decoy that the hacker has tried to insert.

I think I have narrowed it down to something on the host side...I am working with them right now to resolve the problem. Maybe.

I'm guessing you mean on my server CP. I checked there and it's ok...at least it seems that it is ok. If there is a redirect on the phpbb forum CP I may have missed that.

I looked on my server settings information to see if something was strange or altered, but didn't notice anything in particular. It's really a super frustraiting issue that's causing me to want to drive to Alberta, Canada and find the company who these links redirects to. I am about to make a standa...
