Re: Decrease database size?

Ive pondered over this a while ago after seeing the size of the search index. its almost 1gb the rest of the database is actually a tiny fraction of that. then I thought, well I have unlimited 1gb databases why not try and put search index in its very own database. was just some rambling to myself ...

Re: [Discuss] phpBB 3.0.13 Release - Please Update

User "Jessica" ( her message is not visible anymore; probably deleted? ) asked why the page https://www.phpbb.com/downloads/3.0/#update is showing 3.0.13 RC-1. " It's a typo? ", she wrote. We used to offer an update package from 3.0.13-RC1 to 3.0.13 for people testing the 3.0.13...

Re: [Discuss] phpBB 3.0.13-PL1 Patch Level Release

Why downloading the whole package again, if you already downloaded the "officially" release ? You want that everyone who already had downloaded the whole version has to download it all again. But there is no need to do that. Why don't you give that offer that I made ? You're raising a val...

Re: [Discuss] phpBB 3.0.13-PL1 Patch Level Release

Should we still apply this new patch, even though we don't experience the error pages as some have reported with update 3.0.13? Please advice? You should be fine if you're not affected by "Trailing paths and PATH_INFO is not supported by phpBB 3.0" See https://tracker.phpbb.com/browse/PHP...

Re: Database size expansion 3.0.12 to 3.1.0

You may have hit a bug related to https://tracker.phpbb.com/browse/PHPBB3-12873 there. On my local development board I see that on the phpbb_search_wordmatch table the index un_mtch was created, but unq_mtch was not dropped.
