Re: [15/01/07] Xbox Gamertag

Hi. Tried to download this but keep getting the error message File Not Found.

Can this be fixed, or an alternative link produced?

Cheers.

Thanks Brf (didn't notice there was a knowledge base! will have a read of it sometime).

Found it confusing as heck, but I have successfully got the medals showing. Think it was more trial and error than anything, but I obviously tried the right thing to get it working.

Thanks again.

Hi again, Brf. Had a look and seemed to have some bit disappear out of profiler.php (don't know what happened to it, I just copied profile.php and renamed it). Anyway...I reinserted the code and tried lots of stuff. Code out of profiler.php is (complete with the before and after lines so one can see...

Medals Mod In New Profile

Hi. A fellow admin is wanting to create a new profile page just for certain members. He was going to do it in html which would have meant one file for each member, which would mean 70 or so web pages having to be edited/linked to manually. I thought why not use php, so I made a start - eg at http://...

Woops, just remembered. we got hacked, i exported users so the registrants didn't have to re-register, installed a new board, getting rid of everything then imported the users. Does that mean it's too late to fix it, cos that other data will be gone now, or can we (ie I) do something to fix it? Cheers

Brf wrote: You also have to import the "user_group" and "groups" tables, since those are used for permissions.

The board has been running for quite a while now, with users, groups and permissions etc set.

Will that mess anything up?

Cheers.

SQL Error adding a mod

Hi, I seem to have a bit of a problem adding a user as a Mod. I think, from Googling, that the problem may be because our board got hacked, so I installed phpBB, then imported the user list. The error I get is DEBUG MODE SQL Error : 1064 You have an error in your SQL syntax. Check the manual that co...

Nice mod, but nowdays most of the people don't allow guest posting. You can make really usefull, if there are option that only members of certain group can post the links. Irene Sussed it, I believe. With some help and patience from Brf, I can now make it so that only members of a particular usergr...

You need to have $db in that global line too. Thank you so much. It worked when I did that (apart from the break I put into my portion), so to get it to work in the right place I have (just in case anyone else is interested): THIS IS MY VERSION TO ONLY ALLOW MEMBERS OF A CERTAIN GROUP TO POST URLS:...
