Table needs to be repaired

Found this error message this morning: Table './XX/phpbb_sessions' is marked as crashed and should be repaired [145] I tried repairing the table via phpMyAdmin with no luck. Tried clearing the table, also to no noticeable change. Is there anything I can do to reboot the database or somehow tell phpB...

Re: Discuss phpBB 3.0.7 released

It seems for some users there were errors with uploading the .htaccess files. I would guess that these users were uploading from a Mac. In the future, when there are any files that start with a ".", they should be included as documents somewhere as well for the Mac users. Any file that starts with a...

Re: Subforums display in parent not index

I hate to revive an old thread, but this is exactly what I'm looking for. Are there any solutions for this?

Re: Discuss: phpBB 3.0.6 released

Is there any solution for upgrading from 3.0.0 to 3.0.6 without manually updating three times or installing fresh? We only support updating from a subset of previous versions to each version, producing updaters for every version would be silly. The updater for 3.0.0 to 3.0.6 would be huge. The solu...

Updating to 3.0.1 from 3.0.0

I uploaded the /install folder to my forum index and started to run the installation. Database correction went smoothly, but then I got this error when I tried to update the files: The update files are incomplete. I checked the error log and got this: [07-Jun-2008 15:25:35] PHP Warning: PHP Startup:...

Re: Fix for session problem - login/logout

Neither of these fixes worked. I changed the value of browser_check in my phpBB_config table via phpMyAdmin, and I tried editing the sessions.php. Still have the same issue: I'll click the Administration Control Panel link, verify my credentials, and then I get the 'Proceed to ACP' message. I click ...

Re: New Smiley Selection Window

Ah, thanks. I'm not used to using 's very often. The only time I see them used is in literature, CSS and IPB source code.

That worked though, thank you.

Re: Can't Access ACP

Alright, I just replaced all of the files except for the styles and files folders and then I cleared the cache out manually. Still no results. I'll click the Administration Control Panel link, verify my credentials, and then I get the 'Proceed to ACP' message. I click on the link (or don't click, ne...

Re: New Smiley Selection Window

Yeah, everything else is intact. It should work..
{L_SMILIES}
<...
