Error at new style installation [found a fix]

I found a fix. Thanks. Hi, I am receiving the error below when I try to install a new style in the administrative panel. I have successfully installed styles under the previous releases; this is my first problem doing so. I tried three different styles. Any ideas? SQL ERROR [ mysqli ] Duplicate ent...

Re: ezboard content issues on phpbb3 RC1

Oh, sorry; I misunderstood. After using the most recent version of the fix, I still see (a few examples)... On Pete Townshend's blog, he lists <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--><em>The Royal Tenenbaums</em><!--EZCODE ITALIC END--> as one of his favorite movies, along with some other good ones (though I susp...

Re: ezboard content issues on phpbb3 RC1

That's odd, because I swear when I looked at that link a few days ago, it did have ezboard code in the message content.

Any sense of when the fix will be ready?

"No new posts"

I have encountered a somewhat odd problem.

Before ONE (and only one) of my forums, the text "No new posts" appears (whether or not there actually are new posts doesn't matter). Any idea where this is coming from?

Re: [DEV] AJAX Chat

Success! Thanks!

One more question: is there an admin mode -- i.e. to clear the chat logs? I *think* I read all of the docs.

Bonus question: is there a way to create a welcome message for inbound chatters? i.e. "Welcome to... etc etc"

Re: [DEV] AJAX Chat

I have done everything as per the instructions... twice.

I don't quite understand the error... as you might see, it is using the root_path (/../../) and not finding common.php (but why is it looking in the chat directory?).

Re: [DEV] AJAX Chat

Seems like you didn't integrate the chat link for registered and logged in users properly. The JavaScript section belongs to the script section of forums header - I changed the readme slightly to explain this better. The Nickname input form of the Chat is just for guest users - if you see it you di...

Re: [DEV] AJAX Chat

Thanks! (update, I read the middle set of questions in this topic, so ignore question 2) (update 2, I am trying a fresh re-install in a different directory. I have discovered that the random 'Chat' link that appears, as per question 4, comes from the JavaScript section of the directions. Where does ...

Re: [DEV] AJAX Chat

Looks like the path you provided in index.php is not correct - please post your path setting here, so I can help you out. Thanks for the help... The forum is located at /home3/paulnj21/public_html/rushmore/yankeeracers/ (http://www.shootangle.com/rushmore/yankeeracers OR http://www.rushmoreacademy....

Re: [DEV] AJAX Chat

So, I updated the path in index.php and uploaded it to the chat directory, but I am still getting the following error: Warning: include(/home3/paulnj21/public_html/rushmore/yankeeracers/includes/chat/../rushmore/yankeeracers/common.php) [function.include]: failed to open stream: No such file or dire...
