the whole point of the way headers and footers work is to show the same thing on every page . I'm not trying to offend but I find that not quite accurate. Phpbb forums are designed to treat each section of a forum seperately and "put the pieces of the puzzle together" when done. That being said yes...

I haven't seen one yet but heres a thought.

D&D, and all D&D images, is copyright material most likely.

That being said... find a "Fan Kit" download from the copyright owner and I'm sure it can be created for you.

Credits, can I roll them up into one ?

I'm working with a style that has very little room in the footer. I'd like to roll up the multiple credits required into one line. Example. The current Line #1 - Powered by phpBB © 2001, 2003 phpBB Group Line #2 - Template style by "xxxxxx" of "xxxxxxx".com Line #3 - etc Proposed change "xxxxxx" php...

The credit to Phpbb is there in my personal files but you're right it was missing from the demo board. Problem fixed. About the color and text, its completely changeable by the boards admin just like the background is. I'm more of a technicaly oriented person and wanted to create a see through forum...

Oh the fun of IE vs firefox. I've gone over the code and it should be fixed. You might need to clear the cache if you saw it before the fix. If not i've got more digging to do. I'm on the lookout for a better background, the right background could set this style apart with the right person chosing t...

What system and what resolution did you check it out with ? When someone uses the biggest possible resolution the forum panel was supposed to center itself and not be white on the sides. I'm guessing that didn't happen for you. It should be fixed now. thanks btw... this is exactly the kind of stuff ...

Transparent forums.

Working on a new warcraft forum idea and could use some feedback. I'm sure transparent has been done before, not sure if it works on all systems. A temporary demo board is up, feel free to comment. I'm particularly interested to know if something doesn't work with your system (opera etc). http://www...

Of course I wouldn't alter someone elses style, by alter I mean alter the phpbb layout for things such as button location... move them from the header to the cat title area etc. All done in the .tpl and .css files, not the .php ones. Let me explain further... for whatever reason i'm still not comple...

it doesn't for me but I tried the link on this page. http://www.phpbb.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=369981 your link worked. after reading the section that applies I'm still needing some clarification. Submissions must be stand-alone and not require: -Altering phpBB's PHP code in any way. -Installation ...

phpBB.com's Styles Release Policy

I tried to read the "phpBB.com's Styles Release Policy" but the link is invalid or not working at the moment. I have questions regarding a planned style that would have a fixed background and transparent sections. A) Would that type of style be releasable and B) does anyone have a copy of the releas...

You don't need to insert the p {color: white} a {text-decoration: none} into the header like that. Instead add the actual css command right into the html like this.... instead of </head> <body> <p> <a href="http://www.cobrasbistro.com>Cobras Bistro</a> </p> </body> try this.... </head> <body> <div c...

Phpbb has been done so why not try something original? Although copying it would be flatering I'm guessing the rest of the site is copyright maybe? As for the style question its not all that hard... sorta. The same header is on every page, the graphics compliment each other on every page, the layout...

Specific question on legality and ethics re:phpbb templates.

Hello, I have a specific template file that was created by someone else. The artwork in it is not his except for the buttons, its from a gaming companies "fan kit" artwork for which he has given credit to them as required. The "layout" however is his idea. My question is this. Do I need his permissi...
