Re: Cannot read/send PMs - table has reached max allowed size?

We have around 120,000 members and about 4.2 million private messages. It's big, but it's an integral part of the site, so it's a tough call.

Re: Cannot read/send PMs - table has reached max allowed size?

Yep. I was actually able to fix it by switching privmsg_id from MEDIUMINT(8) to INT(8). The maximum unsigned value for MEDIUMINT is 16777215, and we had reached entry 16777216. We were able to solve it by switching it to INT(8), where the max unsigned value is much higher.

Re: Footer displaying incorrectly in IE

Still no go...

I know, the HTML is a mess, I didn't write it, just trying to integrate the header/footer from the rest of the site into the forums. Must not be related to overall_header though, since replacing the footer with the default code works fine.

Thanks for your help so far.

It is changed...I didn't want to change things for the live board, so I simply changed it on index2.php.

Re: Footer displaying incorrectly in IE

Thanks...unfortunately, still similar problems (I tried cleaning up the HTML previously and just reverted to our original code after little progress).

See here: http://www.issforums.com/forums/index2.php

Is there still something wrong in the HTML? Thanks in advance.

Solved

For some reason, in Internet Explorer, my footer is not displaying correctly. It looks fine in Firefox, Safari, or anything else, but in IE it stretches the footer. The text that should be absolute right is being stretched and stuck onto two lines. I've tried a variety of things but I'm stumped. Mus...

I have integrated it with the insert_post function so it all just happens on selection of the canned reply. The user never sees the post screen and are redirected right to the post.

Can you post this edit?

Thanks so much.

of course it ist, its a bit like ebay. But with this little feature i posted, it would be like i want it, or? The feedback is like eBay, yeah, but there's really no auction-like features built in. Honestly, if you're looking for that, I would go with a standalone app - forums just aren't built very...

Hi, I am german, but I try to write in english. there is a problem: Every auction can be closed earlier as it is allowed. So the auction would be canceled by the topicstartet. But thats not allowed. How can I resolve the problem? I suggest, that the poster fill in the starttime and the end by openi...
