Is it really right that I can only install one board in one database ? All you have to do is download the phpBB 2.0.1 package

looks like the information you used wasn't right. Be sure you used the right host, database name etc..

Or the sql server is down

Why are you using RC2?!?!?!? 8O hi. When I try to install pbpBB2 RC2 I get an error message "PHP.EXE - Application error" as soon as i hit the "start install" button in install.php after that i see only CGI Error The specified CGI application misbehaved by not returning a complet...

Follow the HOWTO's exactly and be sure to read all readme files.

Some MODs are just one single textfile but the bigger have files you have to add and a install file.
