Re: GALLERY_USERS_TABLE' doesn't exist

Thanks. I had forgotten about the XML files in the extinct MODS. What I was after are the phpbb version code changes files at Area51
https://area51.phpbb.com/code-changes/3.0.12/

I won't be upgrading to 3.1x until the photo gallery ext is available.

Re: 3.0.12 to 3.1.2

I finished the update 3.0.12 -> 3.1.2 according to the instructions on localhost box. Kudoes to the database_update. Smooth.

But, until the phpbb gallery ext comes along, I won't put 3.1.12 onto my website. This is a critical mod (for me) :)

[SOLVED] database import fail

Presumably the LAMP installation is a local test board? The best thing would be to start again by transferring your 3.0.12 board as per Knowledge Base - Transferring Your Board to a New Host or Domain to LAMP. Make sure everything is as it should be then carry out the upgrade following How do I con...

database import fail

3.0.12 -> 3.1.1 fresh install on LAMP

After looking at the 3.1.1 update I decided to do a fresh rebuild.

Trying to [IMPORT] the 3.0.12 mysql tables data into the virgin 3.1.1 database fails due to a duplicate PRIMARY KEY

Suggestions ? Hints ?

Thanks In Advance :)

Re: [SPLIT FROM] Russian invasion

Yes did done read that :) I have both the Q&A + a boolean Turing test in the registration form. I will have to make Q&A more difficult ... pesky buggers

Thanks for checking on the [inactive user] bulk delete. I will have to re-check my update to 3.0.12

[SPLIT FROM] Russian invasion

I've had a hit apparently from the Rooskies over the past week. Maybe a dozen per day go into the [INACTIVE USERS] list. From there, I put a [BAN by IP] and [DELETE USER]. We shall see ... I just updated to 3.0.12 and find I cannot bulk delete INACTIVE USERS. I can delete one at a time, bu...

Re: Warning. The entered path "files" is not writable

Hmm. Well, for the record, I have jumped into Remote Desktop Connection, navigated to 'files', found my way to a window named 'Permissions for files', seen that for Users the box for 'Write' was deselected, so 'Allowed' it instead, and that seems to have solved the problem of adding an attachment. ...
