Re: How to allow users to delete their own posts?

Got it, thanks - I thought I had the permissions set right but I didn't apparently.

How to allow users to delete their own posts?

Hi, this might be a simple question but I can't find the setting anywhere and a search of this forum didn't pull up anything. On my forum, registered members are in the "standard features + polls" permissions group, and this is applied to every forum section - but they cannot delete their own posts....

Re: How do I become non-readable by search engines?

Thanks!

Right now I have both "guests" and "bots" set to "no access" on every one of my forum sections - is that the equivalent of allowing only registered users to see the forum?

I appreciate the help,
Aaron

How do I become non-readable by search engines?

Hi, quick question: If I set guest permissions to "no access", does that prevent my forum from being crawled? I have a private forum as part of a larger site, that we're using for private discussions about website development, but I don't want the forum to ever appear in search engines. Am I going a...

Re: [2.0.21] Ad Infinitum

Figured it out!
If anyone else has the same question down the road, I just removed:

<div id="top_image">

before the image, and of course:

</div>

after it, and the image map worked.

Re: [2.0.21] Ad Infinitum

Hi, great skin! Any way to put an image map in place of the top image? I know how to replace the image, but the image map itself is not working. Forum: http://www.hotrodkush.com/forum Image map working: http://www.hotrodkush.com In overall_header.tpl, I'm replacing: <div id="top_image"> <a href="{U_...

Re: Centering and resizing forum?

I'm installing a new skin anyway because it just fits better with the site - I'll try to make the changes again from scratch with the new skin. If I still have problems I'll post back.

Thanks again for the help.

Re: Centering and resizing forum?

Thanks for the response. Doesn't seem to be working - as far as the width is concerned I think I must have changed something else - I'll have to look through all of the files I guess.

Any idea on centering it?

Centering and resizing forum?

Hi all, quick question. My forum is located here: www.hotrodkush.com/forum I'd like to center it in the window, but can't figure out how. I tried to modify overall_header.tpl with no success, maybe I was doing it wrong. I also resized it, as you can see, but it was a few weeks ago and I cannot remem...

You're a genius :D

I actually opened up the tpl file in wordpad that I transfered into the admin folder yesterday, and guess what - totally empty 8O

So I just pasted the code into the file and copied it back into the admin folder and it worked! Amazing.

Thanks alot!

I haven't updated at all since I started the board, but it's only a month or so old so I'm still using the newest software (I think).

I haven't made any code changes to any files that I can recall either.

Thanks for the help. You were right, the tpl file was missing in the template folder of the skin I'm using. However, now I get this message when I try to delete smileys/skins: Template->loadfile(): File /home/content/A/k/u/Akushne1/html/phpBB-2.0.21/phpBB2/templates/ClanzDarkness2/admin/confirm_body...
