Re: Site Advice

no there is no cms for phpbb. :( Thanks for bringing me back down to that sad, sad reality... :( Squared Arches, if the "portal" is all you are talking about, also consider adding the static pages mod (available in the releases) for an alternative way for admins to add content (it's not perfect eit...

What cms for phpbb? Is there a fully working cms for phpbb out there that no one knows about? You are giving me huge hopes and renewed interest in phpbb by suggesting that there may be a cms out there for phpbb.

Re: [DEV] Referral MOD With Contests

Are feature requests still open? If so, is there possibility for consideration to make compatible/integrate with Ultimate Points System mod?

Maybe a user gets a certain number of points for sending out a refferal, and then a certain number of points for the refferal being successful, etc.

Re: Is this a consideration when deciding which MODs to inst

How important to you is the number of file edits a MOD requires when choosing which MODs to install? Are you more likely to install MODs with fewer required file changes or does it make no difference? Why is this the case? Do things like using AutoMOD, learning PHP from observing edits in MODs, fut...

Re: Email Spams

It take it that you haven't seen (or at least clicked) the Scam Warning mini-ad (those little ad-like boxes on the upper right of the board). ;) LOL, Actually I have read the thread you link to before, but I think this is the first time I have clicked on the little "ad" link above to take me there....

Email Spams

Anyone else being bombarded with spam emails from what appears to be some kind of phpbb3 related ticket support email list? So far this morning, I've had about 60 mails from people who are "replying to all" including the server that does the email forwarding or bouncing or whatever, that are all say...

Why? What's wrong with restricting a feature to logged in members only?

Re: phpBB Falling Behind?

Now it won't be current since the internet is constantly evolving. It will be last years style before it is even released. phpBB2 was the top dog that everyone tried to copy. phpBB3 isn't. phpBB3.1 on its current track won't either. I was hoping they would just skip right over 3.1 and 3.2 and relea...

Spammers

I noticed that the spamming is getting through the latest version lately... or maybe it is just my settings. I wanted to see if others have noticed a recent increase in the amount of spammers getting on your forum lately? It seems to go in waves; i.e. a new phpbb version is released and no spammers ...

Re: [BETA] phpBB Sportsbook Lite (sports prediction system)

Before, of course. (after wouldn't make sense, everybody would remove his wrong predictions to avoid negative points) OK, then yes I shall allow for that. 8-) $ Please make that an option, as one may want to enfore that all games are predicted. Negative points are part of the strategy for some pools.
