Re: Any Code Changes to Subsilver2 in 3.0.6?

I guess the big question is, can I use my old stylesheet.css?

Re: Any Code Changes to Subsilver2 in 3.0.6?

Okay, I suppose I should have thought my question through more thoroughly. I apologize. I replaced all the "my style" files of subsilver2, with the 3.0.6 subsilver2 files, except the image folder and the style sheet. That should do it, no? :? You're using "MyStyle" ? Am I ...

Any Code Changes to Subsilver2 in 3.0.6?

Any Code Changes To Subsilver2 in 3.0.6, or do I just need to update the version number in the .cfg files?

My style is Subsilver2, with only color and image replacements.

Other than that, the update went fine.

Nice job folks! (as usual)

Thanks, Kenny

Re: Update Question?

Never mind... I'm an idiot. The overall_header.php and overall_footer.php are not changed in the update, so no manual changes are needed.

Sorry and thanks again!

Re: Update Question?

If you haven't modified files that were updated in 3.0.3, then you can overwrite old files with ones from 3.0.3. Don't forget to purge cache after updating template files. Wow! Quick response! Thanks! So, if I understand you correctly; I can keep the .css file and .cfg files for my custom colors an...

[Solved, Thanks] Update Question?

When using the update package (update_3.0.2_to_3.0.3), do I need to manually change anything in my modified version of Subsilver 2? My version of Subsilver 2 only has color changes and ad banners added to the overall_header.php and overall_footer.php. Everything seems to be working normally, but I w...

Re: Scrolling Banners In Footer...

the fixed 'image links' work great and they look much better too. I took a look and they look good, as does your site, incidentally - very nice. I particularly like your rules - I may need to steal them  Thanks for all your help Jim! I made all the site graphics from scratch, so thank you ...

Re: Scrolling Banners In Footer...

Hey, Thanks for all the help Jim. I truly appreciate it. I've decided to go with fixed position clickable banners. I think you are absolutely right. The scrolling banners, (even if they worked properly) are kind goofy looking and more trouble than they're worth. I'll keep an open mind to other optio...

Re: Scrolling Banners In Footer...

What I'm trying to do is add multiple small banners to the footer, which are also links to the sites they are advertising. I figured that the scrollable graphics would save space, but it's getting to be a pain in the butt. I'd appreciate any suggestions. Take a look at the footer to see what I'm try...

Re: Scrolling Banners In Footer...

No, I didn't know that.

I'll see if I can find a better solution. Maybe I should just make them fixed. Although, I'm too sure how I would accomplish that either.

I appreciate the responce. ;)

Re: Scrolling Banners In Footer...

Okay, I have it working, but... Is there some code that needs to be placed in the CSS file? Sometimes the banners don't appear until you refresh the browser. Other times they are there, and then disappear when clicking a link to return to the index page. :?

Any ideas?
