Re: Need Help Pretty Bad (Not Acceptable, error)

Kevin, you were right.
I had a look around, turned out my host modified mod_security, the fix is to place this string in the .htaccess file:

Code: Select all

SecFilterEngine off

Re: Need Help Pretty Bad (Not Acceptable, error)

Thanks for your reply, but nope.
I tried various variations, from Test, Hello, Alex, To general kepboard smashing.
Strange thing is that I have had phpBB on this server before, so I'm at a dead end.

Re: Just an easy question I think

Olympus is the codename for phpBB3, a portal is basically a front end news system that runs off your forum, on the same database. There are many portals atm, one being Cavern. Second being Stargate portal, it's down to preference. All of them offer different features. But work on the same principle.

Re: How do I fix Banner on top of the page?

You mean below the logo? If yes;
Go into:

Code: Select all

root/styles/(Template Name)/template/overall_header.html
Edit that, and insert your html code.

Second question:
I'm no expert in phpBB, but I'm sure someone will tell you how :)
