Free forum hosting issue.

Hey all, The previous admin of a forum that I now admin decided he would sign up for free hosting. I'm now keen on leaving the free forum hosting, because it's way too restrictive for my liking. The down side is that the forums are extremely limited. There is no access to the database, no FTP access...

Re: profile fields required

I'm also after a way to make the location field required.

Both in the signup process, and when editing your profile.

Re: PHPBB3 Portal question...

Hey zyxw,

You'll need to get support for it on their own forums.

It does work with phpBB 3.0.1, I run them together myself.

Re: Opening link forums in a new window?

While that works fine for links inside posts on the forums (thanks, I wanted that too), this seems to have no effect on "link forums" that have URLs that point external to the website.

Does anyone know how to make link forums open in a new page or tab?

Opening link forums in a new window?

Hey all,

Currently, if I create a link forum, clicking on the link opens the new website in the same page.

Is there any code that I can edit to have these open in a new page?

users active over the past 5 minutes

Anyone know how I can change this to show data for the last 15 minutes?
(Both changing the text, and showing 15 minutes worth of data).

Re: [ALPHA] Attendance Mod (0.2.2)

Is there any news on when there will be a BETA version of this MOD?

I'm very much looking forward to a stable version.

Re: Login problem after upgraded to 3.0.1

Hrm.
It seems my database reverted to the 3.0.0 database.

Re-upgrading it with the upgrade database tool fixed the problem.

Maybe it'll work for others.

Re: Login problem after upgraded to 3.0.1

I am having the same problem. I am unable to log in to the boards, or the ACP. Browsers used: IE, FireFox, Safari. There is no change in behaviour whatsoever between browsers. After entering my username/password, the page changes to the one that states your login was successful, and you seem to be l...

Hey all, I've tried both full new install with DB update, and modified files only, with DB update. Both give me the following error during DB update, and result in not being able to post on the forums after (That error included further below). ===== Updating database schema Progress :: . . . . . Hey Puggs,

I'm really glad that you've decided to take my request on board with your project.

Obviously I'll be watching the progress closely.

With all the news-related mods out there, none of them did what I wanted them to do.

[REQUEST] Delete and leave shadow.

Hi all, In the same way that moving a topic has the option of leaving a shadow, I am very interested in being able to delete topics (and single posts inside topics), leaving the author and time/date details intact, but showing that the topic/post has been deleted by a moderator. When the moderator i...
