I fresh installed for a new website I'm working on, haven't made any changes at all, was going to do some custom profile fields, as this is a church website, but there is no option in the ACP under users except "inactive users". some of the files didn't upload when I first uploaded to the ...

Sounds like you have a modded language file. Try "General Administration"

OK - I think I got it fixed...
I deleted all my cookies related to my site (again) and changed the domain in cookie settings to my domain (with the two dots) - and now it seems to be working fine.

I've never changed my cookie settings, so I guess this is what they are supposed to be - but I'm really not sure:

cookie domain = blank
cookie name = phpbb2mysql
cookie path = /

Is that what they are supposed to be?

[solved] can't log out since upgrading to 2.0.5

I've finally upgraded to 2.0.5, but now I can't log out. I've searched here, and checked everything I've seen posted as possible solutions (I think).

I'm not getting any type of error or page not found page, just redirected back to the index, but still logged in.

Any ideas?

SPLIT isn't really obvious. Click on "YOU CAN MODERATE THIS FORUM" and from there, click on a topic. There you will see how to split the posts you want into another topic. You can create a new title for the new topic, and select which posts you want to be split into the new topic. Those yo...

Not sure, but I think that little bit of space is there by default. I think you can make it go away by defining body margins of 0. (don't quote me on this -- I'm not positive.) In fact, I think I have had to set negative margins before to get everything lined up just right.

Not really answering your mod request, but having been a scout leader (formerly cubscouts, currently girlscouts) I have a few suggestions for you. You might consider making the entire forum area private -- meaning that only the registered members have access. OR - if you want to have a public area -...

This article explains the problem: http://www.phpbb.com/kb/article.php?article_id=54 I sent a message to all members explaining that AOL was causing problems, and it would be better if they viewed the site from a separate browser, even when logged into AOL. (Many users have said the problem isn't as...

If you have access to the db, you can change the email back, then use the "forgotten password" option to re-set it. However, as long as someone else has admin privileges, they can make changes to any user's account.

It's got to be because of something a poster has included in his/her post.

What mods do you have installed?

Give a link to the topic which is causing this - and maybe someone can help you find the problem

You need a way to access your database directly (not through phpBB) such as phpMyAdmin, or something similar. Then you can change the database directly, to go back to subSilver as default. BE CAREFUL when making database changes -- you could end up in worse trouble that before. Be sure you know what...

Need something more specific to know what's causing the pop-up. Link to the topic would help, or at least a description of what is actually popping up.
