This is one of the many MODs I have written that I never really followed through on and made perfect, but it does still work just fine (or at least it did then, it should still be fine on 2.0.8).

Anyway, see this topic

No, you only have to set Post to Registered or All, and have everything else private or Mod, and it will work. You can see the Post drop down in the Advanced section of forum permissions. I personally use this, and I just checked on two default installs other than my main site (that is not default b...

That would still allow for people to see who the last poster was, as well as the subject, unless you change permissions. Really, the easiest way is to set the forum permissions on view and read to only be the Mods, and let post be either everyone or registered, then you would just place a link somew...

I will say, there isn't a relevancy check, it just returns the results that have the specified words. With that though, I will leave it though, as it appears not to be a MOD but just a question on how phpBB works, and I have my duties to attend to (hope you understand)

Different problems have different solutions. As I don't know what you are doing, I don't know if this is the best solution. For solutions where you have many rows to search through (such as searching through posts) having an index can be very good. Using this index, phpBB is also able to strip out t...

Correction. phpBB creates an index of all words used in each post, so when you do a search, you aren't searching the posts themselves, but searching a list to find out if the word (or words) is in the post. Have a look at the tables phpbb_search_wordlist and phpbb_search_wordmatch

As this is a Styles issue, moving to Styles Discussion. This is a known thing with subSilver. The subSilverish template of phpBB 2.2 (when it comes out, no release date) will be done with relative font sizes, but there are other options for now. You can simply edit subSilver.css and change the value...

Thoul: I meant no disrespect to you, I had not seen a solution for this problem beyond changing the table layout as to allow for the longer post to take up more of the page at the time of my writting. And when I said but there are several things that make my code superior (other than the fact I pull...

phpBB adds the email address listed in the from and reply-to, so unless you already modded some email functionality, you should be getting bounces. The question would be if you see you admin address in the from address of the board. Also, this may be moved to phpBB Support due to this not being a MO...

You just need to set the board email address as a valid email address that you can check, and then it will get the bounced email messages. (Admin Panel -> General Configuration)

va_group: Could I find out which browser you are viewing this page from? It looks like IE, but I don't know what version. It appears that if I found your site correctly, you removed the MOD for now, and that is fine, but it would be good to see the bug in action if you know what I mean (or at least ...
