Just because one backs up every hour does not mean one has to store more than two or three backups.
is that an actual backup policy you recommend?
No. But I don't not recommend it either.

No reason not to. Support for 3.1.x has ended, so that is one reason.

Just report your first post then one of the team will mark it for you Or just edit your first post and add SOLVED at the beginning of...

You backup your forum every hour? Doesn't that put a lot of stress and strain on your server? Do you have like 50 or 100 backups stored on your server? Must take up a lot of space? Just because one backs up every hour does not mean one has to store more than two or three backups. That is one of the...

Re: Help with permissions for forums

Do you have guidance how to rectify this on the phpBB ACP? ACP/User & Groups/Manage Groups/Pre-defined Groups/Administrators/members But you must already be in admin group to get to ACP? You may be able to change your own default group in the User Control Panel. What your default group is is irrele...

Re: Change the Board started date

What you show is just the first page of the config table. There are about 12 more pages. Click the column head of config_name to sort alphabetically and it should be on page 3 - board_startdate.
