Re: [DEV] Gravatar Integration

You may be able to get a good way there using this: http://danforum.net/artikkel/gravatar_for_phpbb3 I was going to try this, but would rather have some control in the UCP over which email address to use for Gravatars, whether to use the gravatar or a "local" one etc.. if you can use the code from t...

Stitching another web app (Flyspray) into PHPBB..

I would like to tie the bug tracker software 'Flyspray' into my PHPBB installation. I'm thinking that this would be a useful mood alongside something like WP-United. I have spent a rather fruitless day trying to make this happen - my methodology was fairly simple: from flyspray's index.php, when it ...

Re: phpBB Smartfeed

Hi Mark, I have this error too, but am a little confused at the reasoning - in my installation, the sf_show_sessions is set to false, but I am seeing the same error... (including after adding the workaround). more worryingly, I'm not actually seeing an SCP entry for smartfeed - there doesn't seem to...

Re: Request - Mail to Forum

This is quite depressing... Can I offer my impression? I suspect that one reason why there has been so little support is that the actual vision of M2f 2.0 is just too big. I asked for this help, and I offered some help on the m2f forum - I signed up as a tester for a bit, but backed away - partly be...

Re: [2.0.19] Smartfeed

Okay, v1.11 seems to mention these problems - installing it now...

..and that's it fine now - *phew*

like v1.11 btw - very slick!

I have implemented it in the new "Prosilver" skin (on phpbb 2.0.22), let me know if you wnat the modifed files. (probably not done that well, I am fairly amateur!)

Re: [2.0.19] Smartfeed

oooh, nasty. I installed this mod on my board, and it seems to have a pretty major flaw. If you generate a URL with a time limit (say 1 eek), for a specific forum, then modify the URL line to a different forum ID... it generates a feed of all messages, including private and hidden forums! yowch! dis...

Re: [Release] prosilver 1.0 Beta3 (for phpBB2)

ok, Got this installed on my (heavily modded) PHPBB 2.0.21 - man that was a lot of work, but well worth it - great work man, it looks great. I have to mod a few tpls across to look nice and "pro", but the functionality is there. Quick question though - some of the colours used seem a lot less satura...

Re: Request - Mail to Forum

Similarly, this is the one sticking point preventing us from moving to olympus. We use the Mail2Forum mod for 2.0, which allows two way mailing list integration - something which has given our users great flexibility. It allows people to stay in touch and participate in forum discussions when they a...

I'd be happy to help out with testing, hacking around etc.

I'm using the mod, and it's just great - makes a real difference, and prevents a lot of abuse by new signups.

would be nice to give something back :)

Solution to the Errors on Posting...

Okay folks, you will be glad to hear that I found the solution to the errors people are getting. I applied this mod (which looked okay in easymod) and then got this set of errors: Warning: Missing argument 14 for prepare_post(), called in /home/mywebsite/public_html/forum/posting.php on line 671 and...
