That a solutions, but there is always a better one and that is to try and rescue the ported-forum. But if all goes wrong, we can always decide that it's best to start from scratch again! Well the problem seems to be fixed, I manually deleted all the session ID's from the table, and cleaned it out. ...

Perhaps you didn't tell the supporting people here that you are using a CMS-brigde instead of a stand-alone phpBB installation! ;) Sorry but yes I did. My brother and I have spent 4 weeks posting on here and now we find out that you don't support the problem we are having. We got very frustrated an...

Since you are using phpBB in a CMS, your installation of phpBB is not supported here on phpBB.com. You should get your support from the creators of the bridge! ;) Ok, thanks... The bridge is no longer supported by the CMS. There is not a problem with the bridge as it is working on another website f...

The never ending saga - Session Id issues

Hi The saga continues with our session ID issues with our forum, back and forwards between this forum, and our webhost, as if today this problem has been going on for 4 weeks now. Please we are now begging for help from a phpbb developer. It is not a cookie issue, so please don't say it is. Also ple...

The cookie settings are identical, as are the CMS settings and it is not having any problems. The new site you set up is run from the root directory so the forum is /forum/index.php where as the old one is run from /cms so is cms/forum/index.php so if the cookie settings are exactly the same then t...

How hard is it to say Yes or "No, I can's see an error in the script? " And they wonder why people get frustrated with this forum! This is a prime example of posts that end up in a black hole un answered! How many other people come in here and do a search, find a similar problem in the sub...

Any luck yet? If needed, I could do a lookup map ON the Profile page, which would make any window/frame/whatever issue irrelevant. Maybe a smaller map in there in the right column, it may even make it more browser compatible to loose the pop-up completely. Hi M8 No, can't get it to work, but I have...

OK, I have an update on this issue... I have just spent 4 hours with our web host on online chat, the guy use to write modules and hack phpbb so he has a good idea of how it works, he went through our database and can not find a problem, he confirmed it is not a cookie issue. It is a script issue. H...
