Hi Mate,

To be totally honest I would like to see what you can do to Saphic in a new version. Maybe soften it up a little like the new phpbb.com style?

I will stick with what you decide :P

Re: Conversion for test forum. Will it kill my active forum?

I just realised. I can't copy it to the same folder can I? Say when I actually want to go live and not in my test folder, how can I keep the new installation in ./forums without copying over the old installation?

Have I missed something?

Re: Conversion for test forum. Will it kill my active forum?

I'm using B5. I was hoping to keep the beta forum completely separate from the active one so I've also created the second database copied from the active one. If I use the active db and have the two different running versions do the programmers think the upgrade to release verson 3.0 would be a simp...

Re: Attachment Mod

I'm sure the answer to my problem would be on one of the previous 1324 pages of this thread but i think I'll just reask. I've only just realized that you can only view the attachments (say a thumbnail of a picture) in a thread if you are logged in. Is there a way i can set it up so guests can see th...

I thought that would be the case, I think i was just hoping for a "Yup it just your database is missing" confirmation, rather than thinking there was an actual error with the one I have. Considering I can't even FTP to my host I'm guessing that'll be the case. the front page is there though...weird....
