This may be true, but a good filename certainly isn't going to hurt either. As it is, phpBB's filenames are about as bad as they get.

libforum - A Library for Programmatic Creation of Forums

Hi all, I recently began working on a small library for the programmatic manipulation and creation of forums. I'm calling it phpbb.libforum . It's based upon some code from a few ACP modules. The library at this point contains only a function for creation of forums; I'm looking to expand this to edi...

Re: [DEV] phpbb.json - JSON API for phpBB

I've now pushed some initial drafts of the board (forum listing) and private-message modules. Please look them over and let me know if I've missed anything. :)

Re: [DEV] phpbb.json - JSON API for phpBB

Hi all, I've decided to go ahead and flesh out the actual API before I get to coding it. This will allow for a more clearly-constructed picture of the way things will work, and allow for discussion surrounding implementations before it's too late. I will commit these documents to the docs directory ...

Re: Offical phpbb.com mobile app

I've decided to start working on a JSON API for phpBB (that could eventually be used to create some sort of phpBB-specific mobile application). See this topic if you'd like to get involved. :)

Re: Featuring adult material on a phpBB forum preset?

However, wouldn't linking to such a site (in a signature or support post) violate Rule 1d ? If so, the OP's support options may be limited. Steve I am not certain, but I thought the rules you are referring to applied to THIS forum and not necessarily to other forums. That's correct. I believe Steve...

Re: Featuring adult material on a phpBB forum preset?

phpBB.com has no policy (nor control) over the content a user allows on their phpBB-powered website. You're welcome to post adult material on your own board if you so choose.

You will, however, want to verify that your host is okay with such content.

Re: phpBB.com Website Feedback

for the last few days, when I use my back button, the unread button is now changed to the read button. Are you sure this isn't browser related? The post should be marked as as soon as you've read it; it may be appearing as unread when you hit "back" because the old page is still cached. P...

You must be comfortable enough with the language to express your thoughts and opinions with some degree ...

Re: Team and what they do

First and foremost: while I am a phpBB.com Team Member, I am only particularly familiar with the Support and Website Team policies. The remaining answers are my understanding of the process--a team member on any of those teams may be able to provide a better answer :) What do the Moderators do (Dumb...
