Hi guys, a brief summary of the problem: I have two domains registered currently: www.cfieldforum.co.uk and www.chesterfieldforum.net My version of phpbb3 is on the hosting linked to cfieldforum.co.uk. Previously, I have had the chesterfieldforum.net as the main domain, forwarding any users to cfiel...
I will move this to MOD Writer's discussion, as this forum is not for MOD support of any kind. Oops, my mistake, sorry about that. Greetings, Try this: 'U_VIEW_TOPIC' => append_sid("{$phpbb_root_path}viewtopic.$phpEx", 'f=' . $row['forum_id'] . '&t=' . $row['topic_id'] . '&p' . $r...
Hi guys, A brief summary of what's happening: I have a portal installed on my board, for this portal I made a block which shows the latest 5 posts in the forum. You can then link to the post from this block by selecting the title. I amended the URL to the post by changing the code to show the follow...
Well, i've just managed to fix this using the method above. I located the following piece of seemingly rogue code in the includes/functions_posting.php file from the lastRSS autoposting bot mod: //lastrss autopost mod begin if ($data['post_time'] != 0) { $current_time = $data['post_time']; } //lastr...
I've had a thought regarding this actually... As it's working on my local server, could i download all the files from my site and compare the whole lot with winmerge or something similar? That way i could isolate any differences. Am i right in thinking it's highly unlikely it will be a database issue?
Still struggling with this i'm afraid. If anyone has any idea where the timestamping is controlled i could compare files with a fresh install, but i'm not knowledgable enough to work this out by myself
that's a tough one. There's a relatively complicated route to how i reached the current state of my forum. I had an old version that messed up, and then i installed the new version over the top replacing all the files, that suggests to me that somewhere or other there was a file which wasn't overwri...
in this topic: http://cfieldforum.co.uk/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=26 the user Sap1ent (myself) pressed the quote button on the post after the next two posts had been posted, but as you can see, it was given the same timing and date as the first post, even though it was posted over 7 months late...

Can I also second the request for the individual statistics blocks to be used on the main index page.
For instance, my website
http://www.tshaw.co.uk/phpBB has a 3 column style template, and i'd like to incorporate one of the stats blocks under the google adsense banner on the right hand side.
