Re: [RC] Karma MOD

Installed this in my 3.0.6 sandbox area, but I see some issues.

I may have missed something, but double cheking it found nothing, so I assume it must be because of the changes in 3.0.6

Will there be support for v3.0.6? Anyone have any idea on how to change the code for this version?

Re: BBcode and Smiles in QuickReply

Before I saw this thread I tried the same BlueMan tried with no luck. I would like to find a mod as well. Others please chime in if you have a way to add BBCode and Smilies.

Re: [3.0.6] Quick Reply how to add smilies and BBCode?

Well I suppose that's the only option. I'm a little sad that you guys decided to go so basic, because it wouldn't have been much more work to add those features, or at least make them optional. Without those features, along with the option to permanently show the QR box (without a mod), this new QR ...

[3.0.6] Quick Reply how to add smilies and BBCode?

Thank you to the PHPBB crew for adding this feature! However, the QR in 3.0.6 is pretty plain. I uninstalled the QR Mod to activate this new feature, but I'm not impressed do to the lack of options. I would like to see it have the same features as the standard forum reply (smilies and BBCode etc.), ...

Re: Mass email goes to junk mail

There is no way for phpbb to fix it, because it depends entirely on the policies of each members email provider. They could alter the email script. If the variable $to uses "undisclosed-recipients" most junk mail filters will block that and is a trend in junk mail filtering tools and soft...

Re: Mass email goes to junk mail

By using the Starfoxtj Toolkit you can export the users emails and then use your own SMTP server for your personal email account (or make another) to send mail to all users, instead of using mass email. Not a bad idea. I use the toolkit already, but I like the mass email function in the admin panel...

Re: Mass email goes to junk mail

I am digging this up... because I am having the same issue with my mass emails going to users junk mail. I am using my servers default SMTP settings and not using an individual SMTP email account - don't think I want to change that. Can anyone confirm the tip about changing the "undisclosed-rec...

Re: **Categories vs. Forums <---[please help]**

Yes. It is your style. As you can see from my picture, prosilver-based styles have the parent forum name at the top of the page, rather than under the subforums... and no post-table if there are no posts. Yep - switching to prosilver removes that post table. Hmmm looks like I may need to dig into t...

Re: **Categories vs. Forums <---[please help]**

Brf wrote:Yes. The difference is that you can show a 2-deep forum as a sub-forum link on the index, while a category you cannot.
When I set the Audi - Forum (1) to category it then lists all my forums instead of making a sublink to the forums. Does that make sense?

Re: **Categories vs. Forums <---[please help]**

That would make sense...but I also have the same thing happening on another forum with a different theme and different author. Coincidence? Or could it be the difference from an RC candidate to the v3.0 gold? Site: http://forums.systm32.com http://imagehost.systm32.com/showimages.php?imgid=28&re...

Re: **Categories vs. Forums <---[please help]**

Why would you want to remove the forum list? It is showing the subforums that you set up. If you do not want them to be subforums, then do not set them up that way. Maybe I am not using the correct term here, so here is a picture: I want to remove the list below - all posts should be in the sub-for...

Re: **Categories vs. Forums <---[please help]**

Setting Read-Only just removes the "New Post" button, but the forum list is still visible...how would I remove that?
