Re: Almost from scratch...

Thank you. That'll leave behind any mods and themes that were on the old forum, and only bring over the users and posts?

Re: Almost from scratch...

I understand how to upgrade- that I've done before. That's not what I'm doing here.

User added by admin only

Is there an extension that removes user registration, and makes it so that only admins can add new users? We used to have a mod installed, and searching seems to only bring up that.

Almost from scratch...

I'm overhauling a forum that's been sitting at 3.0 and not working for quite a while now. I'd like to go with a shiny clean install, and then import the existing member list, groups and posts. (Which will then get archived, but people want access to the older content.). I don't need the theme, or an...

Re: Upgrade Oddities

Users get to the forum with a basic "www.website.com/forum" url. The admin panel is at /forum/adm/index.php, just like I'd expect. If that's the case then you must have some sort of URL rewriting going on because from the image your board is in a folder called phpBB3 not forum , so the ad...

Upgrade Oddities

I am working on a private board that I did not install, but I have access to the server, upgrading from 3.0.8 to 3.0.10. I ran a test upgrade on another board that I did install, just to make sure I had all my ducks in a row, and it went fine. Users get to the forum with a basic "www.website.co...

Moderation Queue Run Amuck

This is the second upgrade, from 2.x to 3.07, and then to 3.08. Since the upgrade, a large number of users are in the moderation queue, where no users were previously. I have not been able to find a common element between them- they all belong to different groups (users are hand sorted into groups o...

Change forums font header size?

The header on all my forums is hugenormous, and I can't seem to find where to fix it, which means it is probably obvious as all heck. If someone could point me to the right spot in the stylesheet, I would be muchly thankful :)
