so just place this at the top of all my pages?

is there a way that I can still use my own login script.. rather then having to send the users to the forum to login?

how am i to use the sessions if you say phpbb has no php sessions?

tell me like i am an idiot cuz thats how I feel right now..

all i want to do is on my web pages.. not (xtra phpbb pages) say

nice.. so your saying i'ma have to destroy the phpbb login pretty much.. and remake an entirely new one just so i don't have to use phpbb has my sites backbone? wow thanks for helping brf.. I love you guys forum system but if I can't tie the logins into my site without using phpbb as the sites backb...

yes i know its phpbb code.. i need the PHP code that gets used...

eventually down the line somewhere phpbb is setting REAL session variables..

do you know what those are?>

i don't think that is really what i'm looking for.. I don't want to have to make phpbb the backbone of my site.. I just want to be able to use the users sessions on my pages.. that way i can tie in MY login script and use that but I don't want my users to have to login twice.. So like i need the : $...

com on you guys should know this one easy..

i would prefer not to have to rip apart the phpbb login on my board.. but I will if I have to.

all i need to know is what are the variables used for login logout and the session variables for permissions ect..

is there anything special I would need to do in order to tie in my websites login features with phpbb's? my thinking is that I could be able to just reference usersnames from the phpbb database and keep the session's up on my end.. but is there anything special that would make that not wokr? ps. iwi...

i'm pretty decent with php but i will say that I find it kinda difficult to follow the phpbb code..

bbcode syntax highlighting...

hello all,

I'm trying to mod my forum board to use php's highlight() function on my {CODE} bbcode

but I am having alot of trouble finding the end variable that the code contents is stored in...

can anyone help me with this??

i'm not sure about the highlight color of the text... but i know you can change the text input area color these are all located inside the templatename.css file
