I am looking for this exact thing. A calendar with an RSVP feature. Is anyone working on this?

Which mod would offer the best potential for having this featured added to it?

Well check your temp internet folder for 2 files. subSilver.css and formIE.css. I checked both these files and it seems that font sizes for posts are set at 12 px. The class is postbody. As far as font faces I think I saw 3 Verdana (for just about everything), Trebuchet MS (for main title otherwise ...

All I'm trying to say is, I don't think this is a bug, it's just designed this way. If you want to retain the posts by a user, disable their account, not completely remove it. Eelke I think you are missing my point. I don't want to retain the posts by a deleted user. Say there is an ongoing topic t...

This happened to me as well. If you check your log while updating your CVS you will see a merge conflict for that file. I also goto one for /admin/page_footer_admin.php. Just rename the files that had a conflict and do the update again. This will get the current version of the file.

Topics disappear if you delete a user

Is anyone else seen this happen?

If a user has replied to a topic and then you delete that user the topics disappear from the view forum page.

Can anyone else verify this?

How can I tell how much bandwidth I am using? My friend supplied me with a box at his ISP and I have no limits so I have never bothered to check. It is a RH 5.2 box and I have root access is there a command I could use to see how much bandwidth my site uses?

Portal Structure Suggestions

I like the way the discussion is going in the Developer's Lounge. If I may let me throw my 2 cents into this discussion. If you break down the portal into several parts say; Core/Global, Module/Limited Scope, and Add-On/Global. Features in each: Core - Functions necessary in all parts of the website...

phpPortal Team

I would like to throw my name into the hat as a developer. I have alot of ideas on ways to make this a modular system. I also would like to see it stay closely intergrated with phpBB. I have written several ad ons for phpBB 1.4.x for my own website and think I have a clear understanding of it it wil...

Any progress?

Well I am really looking forward to a phpBB Portal. I had planned to do something similar with my website but phpBB2.0 was still in too much flux for me to devote to much time to writting mods. Instead I have spent my time making hacks and mods for 1.4.x that I can then take my knowledge from writti...

Email Validation

Well I think that if you checked for the existance of the server you will take care of both problems. I know that the existance of the server doesn't garantee that the person receives mail there. That is why I use a double opt in validation. At least if the enter an incorrect domain name they are st...
