To clarify what I meant was I'm pretty sure it was working in Chrome, this still works in FF and Edge.
And I can clarify it did indeed work in chrome as thats all I use :)

I had one of my users try uploading an image via FF and it still failed :?

Re: Image rotation when attached

I'm fairly confident this worked before. What I did come across is that Chrome changed the way it handled EXIF with the release of v81 earlier this year but that was related to display. This in the below quote has worked for years with me then all of a sudden it has stopped working! I already did t...

Re: Image rotation when attached

I have battled with this for years! The solution below has worked without problems but just recently the problem has come back! I already did the solution marked in this link: https://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopic.php?p=14772181#p14772181 Even if I don't know if my forum has the plupload v2.3.6 ...

Re: which vps is suitable for phpbb

This is my first post here, so I'm sorry if this category is incorrect. Please transfer if necessary. https://www.phpbb.com/support/docs/en/3.3/ug/ I want to install version 3.3 host on a VPS host. But I don't know which VPS provider is right for my job. With the research I've done, I've been able ...

Re: PhpBB vs Vbulletin vs xenforo

<Small Voice> Kunena (Joomla plugin) is also free. </SV> I've been going through this exercise for an existing forum that is thinking of going away from phpBB. Others considered have been Discourse (as now used by the MX5 Owners Club) as well as Xenforo (Vincent Owners Club). I'm not sure what Thum...

Re: Forum in google play

Tip for those who want to turn website/forum into app: No one has said they want to turn it in to an app! phpBB works brilliantly through a browser and I haven't said otherwise but this is what users want! you have to cater for the target audience otherwise they will just move on and find another s...

Re: CPU Usage abuse solution needed

You can also block the user agents in cloudflare= only one rule ;) https://geekflare.com/cloudflare-firewall-block-bots/ You can copy this lines directly into the "expression" (http.user_agent contains "AhrefsBot/6.1") or (http.user_agent contains "Ahrefs") or (http.user_agent contains "Baiduspider...

Re: Forum in google play

I agree that phpBB doesn't require or need a mobile application for it to work but this is like saying that all game apps aren't required because you can simply play most of them straight from the browser. Even though it's possible, easy and no need of an app, it's what people want. I agree with th...

Re: [3.2][RC] Site Logo

Out of interest if you are uploading files one at a time how long did it take you to upload phpBB? The uploading came when I tried to add an extension and people didn't seem to realize that cPanel doesn't allow anyone to upload an entire folder at once. zip the folder then unzip it on the server Or...

Hm, not directly tested, but my Testboard runs with:

MySQL(i) 10.3.21-MariaDB
phpBB 3.3.0
Any problems with it?
10.3.21-MariaDB is not mysql 8

Its two different database engines

Re: phpBB and Cloudflare

Ah, here it is. https://support.cloudflare.com/hc/en-us/articles/360029696071 Just wondering, Why would you want to do that instead of using this extension? https://www.phpbb.com/customise/db/extension/cloudflare_unmasked_ip/ Because that extension only shows the original IP of the visitor within p...
