Load/show Joomla modules in phpBB3

I need to be able to load a Joomla module inside phpBB. I know a lot of Joomla/phpBB users that would like to do the same. This would make it much easier to integrate the two not only visually but functionally as well.

Thank you for reading and considering... :D

Re: Ranks aren't showing

I just went ahead and put the image path into the phpbb_ranks table in phpmyadmin and it showed up on the ranks list back in the ACP. However still nothing in the drop down box when trying to edit it. So it's fine, it works, it's easy to work around, no problem.

Re: Ranks aren't showing

3.0.5

I did switch hosts and updated to 3.0.5 since I noticed they weren't showing up..so, I don't know if that messed with something but all of the paths seem to be where they should. It doesn't make much sense.

Re: Ranks aren't showing

So your images are in the following hierarchy: ../images/ranks/image1.gif ../images/ranks/image2.gif ../images/ranks/image3.gif Your ACP -> Server configuration ->Server settings -> Rank image storage path: is images/ranks ? Yes. I did notice in the Server settings my Script path was set to /forums...

Re: Ranks aren't showing

Permissions or folder placement. What are the images you uploaded (types) and are they under the root level of /ranks ? :) thanks for the reply...the ranks are .gif images and they are located under /distribution/images/ranks and /distribution/images/StarRanks. My phpbb3 root directory is called di...

Re: Just switched hosts and can't access my forum

I apologize. The previous database prefix was phpBB3 and the new one is phpbb3 and did not switch the B's to lowercase b's. :? :D

Re: source files?

Now, I'm still not sure if I still need to do something to complete the update or not. All I did was upload the files from the update download package and overwrite the old ones on my server. Then I ran the update in the ACP. Am I done or am I missing something? thanks It honestly depends on which ...

Re: source files?

To answer the previous question, source files are all those uploaded to your webspace to make the board. The message you got in the first post is a reminder after running database_update.php. You should have also replaced the old files with the new ones. To answer your more recent question and get ...

source files?

I just updated to 3.0.5 but what are the source files?
Please make sure you update your phpBB3 source files too, even if you run the database_update.php file.
