Re: Slow Posting

changing that had no effect - I installed a fresh version of RC5 and connected to the old database and the posting times were fixed. However, within just a few minutes we started getting a can not find style error. Nothing was altered from the time of the install to the time when the error started s...

Slow Posting

since I updated to 3 RC5 from RC4 posting a message is extremely slow... to the point of timing out I have tried deleting cookies, clearing caches, optimizing tables, etc. etc. etc. all to no avail. If I wait a few seconds after clicking submit (while still waiting for it to post) and then click on ...

Re: [Beta] phpBB3 Portal

What do I need to change so that when users login they are redirected to the portal rather than the board index?

Re: [Beta] phpBB3 Portal

I'm guessing that it's easy to change the donation to another target (ie http://mysite.com) other than paypal@canversoft.net... but I'm not quite sure what needs to be redone. I'd hate to miss something.

Steps to change this would be great.

Re: Email Digests

I will try to be more clear. The change in the lang_digests.php to $lang['digest_auth_acl_text']='<i>(Special Access Only)</i>'; does not fix the problem that I am having. The problem is not the language. Users are not seeing all of the Forums they have access to when they attempt to subscribe to di...

Re: Email Digests

The way phpBB works, if the read permission for a forum is private, you must belong to a user group to read posts in that forum. The message may be better phrased because you may have explicitly granted access to read a forum in the ACP, as opposed to using user groups. If the message bothers you c...

Re: Email Digests

Updated to newest version. Several of the forums are now showing as "Usergroup Members Only." I do not have any Usergroups. Because of this the majority of my users can not receive digests from Forums they otherwise have access to. Example Forum permissions: View - Reg; Read - Private; Post - Privat...

Re: Email Digests

Have you had a chance to look at how to handle Special User Classes ie Main Moderator, VIP, Bots?

Re: Email Digests

Yes, I have special user levels. I have Tri Force installed - Username Color, User Class, and ModCp. In Constants I have: // User Levels <- Do not change the values of USER or ADMIN define('DELETED', -1); define('ANONYMOUS', -1); define('USER', 0); define('ADMIN', 1); define('MOD', 2); define('MAIN_...

Re: Email Digests

I run the test with http://mydomain.com/myboard/mail_digests.php?test=1 I can't run it with "http://myboard.com/mail_digests.php?test=1" or http://mydomain.com/mail_digests.php?test=1 the error message is an intermittent error. Digests are not being sent to other users! I have all the users set up t...

Re: Email Digests

I have my administrator account set up to receive digests, and it does. I also have a board founder account set up with the same email address. It also receives the digest. Then I have four other users set up the exact same way with their own email addresses. I have complete access to these accounts...

Re: Email Digests

Just installed and love the idea. However, the digest is not being sent to users. It successfully sends to me both through direct url and batch scheduling by cron. But it does not send to anyone else. I have 4 users set up with various email addresses, and none of them receive it. When I run a test,...
