Re: "REGISTRATION CONFIRMATION NOT SHOWING" topic has trojan?

I don't know if this is related, but Avast just warned me that it's found something suspicious with my ils.dll file. I haven't had any warnings for months and it seems quite a coincidence it's coming an hour after I get the trojan warning... EDIT: Just did a full boot scan and Avast didn't find anyt...

"REGISTRATION CONFIRMATION NOT SHOWING" topic has trojan?

When I click on the (moved) topic with the subject "REGISTRATION CONFIRMATION NOT SHOWING", Avast jumps up with a trojan warning. I haven't visited the topic because of this. Is this just a false positive or is there something malicious in that topic?

Re: [RC1] Registration Auth Code (RAC)

Well, to be fair, it's not that PHP is "sensitive" -- it's just doing what it's told to do: if ( strtolower ($HTTP_POST_VARS['RAC']) != 'Blurbs') The red part converts the entered authorization code to lower case. You could just remove that if you wanted users to have to enter the code with the corr...

Ah, okay. Then it all makes sense. :)

I've found a mod that will do what I want (http://www.phpbbhacks.com/download/1466), so I'm sticking with phpBB2 for now...

Re: Moderator for usergroup required?

The group is set as an open group, but I still get emails with links to the group for me to approve of members joining the group.

Moderator for usergroup required?

I've set up a usergroup on my forum, where members can join in order to receive an email whenever there are important updates (I can then just do a mass email to all members of that group). I'd like for members to just be able to join without me having to approve their application for the group. Can...

Re: [RC1] Registration Auth Code (RAC)

Did you add the RAC mod code to all your profile_add_body.tpl styles and not just your subSilver one?

Install the RAC mod. I did and haven't had any spam since -- I even have guest posting allowed and also use the RAC mod for guest posting.

Re: help needed please

The images you want to change can be found in the "templates/subSilver/images" folder. Just look through the different image files to find the ones you want to change. As to changing the colors of the admin and moderators, I think there's a MOD that does that. Have a look in the MOD database or the ...
