Re: Redirecting forum on login

Thanks that works. I just need to resolve one problem with it. Is there a way I can add a target=_top to the redirect link?

Redirecting forum on login

Hello All, I'm trying to do a simple redirect at login. I've seen a bunch of posts in the forum but I'm not seeing which file I need to edit. My forum is at http://mysite.com/forum/phpbb3/index.php and I'm trying to redirect at login to http://mysite.com/forum.php. Anyone know how to do this? Many t...

Solved mod

Does anyone know if there's a "solved mod" for phpbb 3.0? The solved mod allows users to mark a topic as solved which is useful for forum designed to help people.

Re: [BETA] Full Syndication Suite 0.9.4a (RSS/ATOM)

I'm confused on how this works. I have two PCs that I've tried to generate this feed on Windows XP with IE 6.0 just gives you a popup that says do you want to save this file for generate_feed.php Windows XP with FF2 takes you to another page and gives you options to save the bookmark at Linux with F...

Re: A couple of questions

Yes, I run Linux on my home PC running xampp so I have a demo board of phpBB3 running for testing. I downloaded all my posts etc from my web host then converted them from YaBB to SMF to phpBB2 to phpBB3 on my PC. Posts converted to phpBB3 but the user passwords weren't carried over from phpBB2 since...

Re: A couple of questions

Yes, I tried to install the Topic Cement mod but it didn't install with EasyMod. I'm debating if I should wait until phpBB3 is released as I really like version 3 and it does practically everything I need and my other needs already has a mod. I'm going from YaBB to phpBB through SMF and I'm concerne...

A couple of questions

I'm in the process of migrating my forum from YaBB2.1 to phpBB2.0 (used YaBB to SMF to phpBB). I have my converted forum running on my linux home PC. I had a few mods on YaBB that I liked and I'm having a hard time finding either a mod or if it's already built into phpBB. 1. Is there a way to allow ...

Re: Yabb to PhpBB3 Conversion

This won't work since the conversion from Yabb to phpbb2 doesn't unencrypt the passwords thus you have to make a modification to the phpbb2 login.php to make it work thus since phpBB3 doesn't have a login.php you won't be able to make the needed changes so everything will convert but members won't b...

Add auto text on new topic start

Hello All, I'm looking to start a new forum and I'm looking for a specific mod. I tried searching the database but it doesn't seem to work. Does anyone know of a mod that adds specific text to the message of each new topic started? I'm looking to do this so it'll prompt people to enter specific info...
