I havent done anything wrong. But this gives a perfect entry point. First time you login I suggest you make 2 changes. 1. Chan...

BBCODE to post an attachment (iage) in a table.

For the life of me I cannot cannot remember how to do this. I did this so well years ago that I was posting example after example on embedding right aligned , left aligned and centered images inside tables with titles and without. Adjustable sizes and widths heights etc.... Now, I feel like my brai...

Re: Is it essential that the Vendor folder & files are uploaded?

Thankyou for your suggestions and knowledge and sorry for the late reply. Yes, I have a mobile but in the Scottish highlands even homing pigeons are slow. Half meg line only for phone connectivity. BUT... I purchased a 3 inch square "pocket hub" from EE for £15 a month... THEN put it INSID...

Re: So no working PHPBBB Portal available yet then for the latest version???!!!

Don't worry. Thankyou for looking in anyway.
Back when I started out in PHPBB Portals were the in thing. Kind of like a newspaper tabloid sort of thing.
Guess my age is showing and people just don't wanna bother with all that any more.

Re: im looking for a [cooltext]text[/cooltext] bbocde - single

When we asked "What does it do" we needed to see the OUTPUT not the actual BBCODE. ANYTHING could be behind the BBCODE including some java magic. In future perhaps show us the actual code behind the BBCODEs and we can interpret your wishes. This had me foxed. Now i've got it. You mean &quo...

Global Email control NOT to have the address visible.

So as Admin,. I can STOP the email addresses being visible. Like a simple form window. Hopefully Ive missed somet...

Or maybe just drive to a nearby library/McDonalds/etc where they have faster internet. Luckily phpBB is small in size. :D You laugh but... I have had to do this in the past in other areas. Berkshire for one. Mid UK. Believe it or not. So thankyou for your information. Just maybe tonight conne...

Is it essential that the Vendor folder & files are uploaded?

OK!. Im uploading forums. Updating them. Reinstalling them. But here in Scotland I am pushing it if I judge my internet connectivity by anything but half 56k dial up from the 90's. Yes. True. We have a half meg line servicing about 170 houses right out in the sticks here. Do i really need to upload ...
