Re: IPB 2.3.x to phpBB 3

I just wanted to say I used this convertor, and except the quotes and some problems with signatures, it worked okay! I don't mind passwords being messed up, I warned my members about it. Thanks a lot for this converter!

phpBB Debug error showed during registration/username change

I get this error when users try to register, or when I try to change their username via ACP. When users register, it also tells them that they're not using allowed characters. [phpBB Debug] PHP Notice: in file /includes/functions_user.php on line 1395: mb_ereg_search_init() [function.mb-ereg-search-...

Okay, seems I was wrong - it has nothing to do with the mod. I got the same error when users tried to register, so I made a clean installation of phpBB3 to test it, and got it again.

Re: [RC1] WP-United: WordPress Integration (v0.6.0 01/12/07)

I have the latest phpBB forum and lates Wordpress running as a portal. I installed this mod and it was all perfect until I tried to change a username for one of my forum members - I got this error: [phpBB Debug] PHP Notice: in file /includes/functions_user.php on line 1395: mb_ereg_search_init() [fu...

Re: Favicon doesn't work: why?

No, I never add any comands and it works for me simply by having favicon.ico in a folder of the subdomain. I see you were adding a code to forum files, I never bothered with that. Domain name: http://www.anavie.net Subdomain with forum: http://sunrise.anavie.net (it's phpBB2 though) Subdomain withou...

Yup, you have the latest version, the one you're supposed to have.

RC were only release candidates, and what you have is the final product. :)

Re: Favicon doesn't work: why?

Try adding just favicon.ico into the subdomain folder like you did in your root folder - that's usually enough for me to make it work.

Re: I can't see my fourms

Thank you.

I was freaking out because I thought there's something wrong with my forum only, but if it's a bug, that's ok. And as long as there's a way around it (I tried up to 5 groups per one forum at once, it worked). :D

Re: Favicon doesn't work: why?

I can see 2 different icons (Well, same simbol, different colours.)
One on the main page of the website, one on the forum.

My browser is Firefox, in case you need that information.

Re: I can't see my fourms

Okay, this is weird. If I delete all permissions and add one by one (one forum, one group at the time) - it seems to work. If I try to add multiple permissions at once - it won't do anything, even though it will look like it did something. I'm confused. :?: Edit: I can also add 2 groups on one forum...

Re: I can't see my fourms

I didn't go to advanced - that's why I created everything the way I want it before so I could just pick "Standard + Polls" or read access only and make my life easier.

Going advanced for 5+ groups and 5+ forums was a bit more time consuming than I was ready for it to be.
