Re: [DEV] Advanced BBcode box 3

The good news is that I have no other mods on my board, nor do intend to have any if I can help it. ;)

So what you are saying is that if I download the current version at the beginning of this topic I'll still have to modify it?

Re: Smilies in subjects

There was a mod for phpBB 2.x.x that required editing of two pages. I looked at the old mod and it won't work with phpBB 3. I guess this is what I get for not being able to do php coding. :)

Re: [DEV] Advanced BBcode box 3

So is there any new information on when this will be released for use on live Forums?

[REQ] Enable Smilies in subject line

How about a mod to enable smilies (emoticons) in the subject line. phpBB2 had a mod you could make in viewforum.php and viewtopic.php that allowed this.

Re: Installation Error after Advanced Settings

Just a thought or two... Did you reset all permissions before installation as outlined in the install instructions? Did you create a MySQL (or whatever) database prior to installation and if so, are the username and password correct?

Smilies in subjects

This may be the most stupid of all questions, but how does one get smilies to show as images in (phpbb3) subject lines. I had it working in phpBB 2.x.x, but haven't a clue how.
